Cairn
Review a knowledge health report
The report lists duplicates and outdated docs. It is not a grade, and it does not clean the corpus unless you approve an action.
The knowledge health report in Cairn is a pass over the index. It includes duplicates and outdated docs. It is how you notice that citations are about to point at two versions of the same decision.
The essay How to read a knowledge health report is the same idea at essay length.
Steps
Open the report when the corpus has changed
After a migration, a quarter of notes, or a stretch where Slack became the place decisions actually happened. There is no schedule published on this site.
Read duplicates and outdated docs as lists
Open the files. A document can be old and still be the one you want kept. Outdated is a flag for you, not a sentence the app is allowed to finish alone.
Separate the report from verified answers
A verified answer is a label on an answer. The report is about the files. Do not treat one as the other.
Approve actions one at a time
If you want Cairn to do something about a file, that action is approval-gated. Approve only what you have opened.
Before you start
- Do not look for a score. We do not publish one.
- Fixing the corpus is what makes the next citation land on the file you trust. The report does not rewrite your notes.
Questions
What does the report include?
Duplicates and outdated docs in the indexed knowledge. Not a letter grade, and not an automatic cleanup.
Who verifies an answer?
Cairn can mark an answer verified. The product does not describe a separate review board on this site. The citation remains the part you can open.
