Errand is a native macOS assistant from Seven Hills Software. Connect the work services you use, ask in one conversation, and review proposed changes before they run. Its available integrations depend on the accounts you connect and configure. The app can also use on-device intelligence when your Mac supports it.

Ask about connected work in one place instead of switching between service tabs.

Review before changes

Errand presents an action for approval before it creates, sends, updates, or deletes something.

Choose your connections

Connect supported accounts in Settings. What Errand can read or do depends on those accounts and their permissions.

Use the main window, a quick panel, or the menu bar entry while working on your Mac.

A request, in order

  1. Connect an account

    Choose a supported work account in Settings and authorize the access you want Errand to have.

  2. Ask in one conversation

    Errand plans the work using the services you connected. When something is unavailable, it should tell you.

  3. Review a proposed change

    Read the preview and approve, edit, or cancel before Errand takes an action in another service.

What you can count on

On your Mac

Murmur transcribes on the Mac. Cairn works with local files and the services you choose to connect. Disk Housekeeper previews disk changes. Errand connects to work accounts only when you configure them, and AutomatorAI works on folders you select.

Its action flow asks you to approve a proposed send or other change first.

Does Errand need my work accounts?

The interface works without them, but reading or changing data in a service requires you to connect that service.
