What is Seven Hills Software?
A product studio founded in 2025. It makes Disk Housekeeper, Murmur, Cairn, Errand, and AutomatorAI for the Mac.
Who is behind it?
Harish Ganapathi is a co-founder and the author of the notes on this site. For a person, use harishganapathi@sevenhillshq.com.
Which operating system?
Disk Housekeeper, Murmur, Cairn, and Errand target macOS 26. The current AutomatorAI project targets macOS 14 or later. Check each app page for its requirements.
Do you have an iPhone app?
These five products are Mac apps. An iPhone app is not listed here.
How do I buy?
Checkout uses Lemon Squeezy when the store subdomain and the app's variant id are configured. Until then the buy button says checkout is not open yet. We do not invent a price in the meantime.
Where is my license key?
Lemon Squeezy emails it. If the store redirects to the thank-you page with a license key in the address, that page shows it. We do not display a sample key.
How do refunds work?
Email harishganapathi@sevenhillshq.com with the order number. The refund policy page is the full wording. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and processes an approved refund.
Is dictation private?
Murmur uses a local speech model. Transcription stays on the Mac. Sending a message in another app is that app's action, after the text exists.
Does Cairn upload my files to you?
Cairn is a private on-device assistant. It indexes files and the tools you connect, including Slack and Notion. Connecting those tools talks to them. We do not describe a Seven Hills server that stores the corpus.
Does Disk Housekeeper permanently delete files?
It previews first and sends removals to the Trash by default. Emptying the Trash in Finder is what makes a deletion permanent.
Why are there no reviews?
We do not publish testimonials, ratings, user counts, or download counts. If we have not measured it, it is not on the site.
Is Disk Housekeeper safe?
It previews every clean and sends removals to the Trash by default. Emptying the Trash in Finder is the permanent step. Apple notarization is a separate fact and is not stated until the shipped build is confirmed.
Does Murmur/Cairn send my data anywhere?
Murmur transcribes with a local speech model on the Mac. Cairn answers on the Mac from your files and the tools you connect. Slack and Notion connections talk to Slack and Notion. Neither app is described as uploading your corpus to a Seven Hills server.
