How we build and test

The apps are native Mac software. We describe a behavior here when the app implements it, and leave unconfirmed release details off the site.

Native, and specific

Disk Housekeeper, Murmur, Cairn, Errand, and AutomatorAI are Mac apps with different jobs. Disk Housekeeper previews a clean. Murmur transcribes locally. Cairn cites sources. Errand asks before connected actions. AutomatorAI works on selected folders.

What a test is, here

Before a sentence is published, it has to match that behavior. We do not publish a count of test runs, a lab photo, or a pass rate. Those numbers are not ones we are willing to state. The changelog records what the site is willing to say, not a stack of invented patch notes.

What stays off until it is confirmed

A money-back window, a trial length, a download size, a pricing model, a support response time, and Apple notarization are config flags. While they are empty or off, the pages say they are not set or not confirmed. Turning one on is a change to the config, not a rewrite of a testimonial.

Questions

Do you publish test results?

No counts and no pass rates. The product pages describe the behavior the apps commit to: preview, Trash by default, a local speech model, and citations.

Are the builds notarized?

Not claimed until the notarization flag is confirmed for the shipped build. The compatibility page shows the current state.
