Approval-gated action

An operation the assistant prepares and does not perform until you approve it.

An action changes something: a file, a message, a record. Gating it on approval means the change waits. Showing you a duplicate is not yet an action. Asking the assistant to do something about the duplicate is, and it should not proceed on momentum.

Cairn uses approval-gated actions. The knowledge health report lists duplicates and outdated docs for you to read. If you want a follow-up performed, you approve it. Summoning the assistant does not count as approval. The use case Find duplicate documents stops before any delete.
